Tipp well represented at World Para-cycling championships today

While Upperchurch Drombane’s captain Paul Ryan is preparing for the Mid senior hurling final this evening, his brother – Olympian Peter Ryan – is preparing for the Men’s B Road race at the World Para-Cycling Championships.

He, along with his Carrick on Suir pilot Sean Hahessy, race 109.3 km – with the race due to get unerway at around 1pm Irish Time

They raced again on Friday in the Tandem Time Trial, where they placed 9th.


They’re not the only Irish pair in action today, as Damien Vereker also races with his Tipp town pilot Dermot Radford in the same race.
