Tipp resident says Sinn Féin need new direction

A Tipperary resident says Gerry Adams will go down in history for the brutal individual that he is.

The Sinn Féin president announced over the weekend that he will be stepping down next year after leading the party for 34 years.

Don – whose grandfather was among those killed in the Omagh bombing – on what he feels will be Gerry Adams legacy.

He was reacting to the praise lauded on Mr. Adams by Carrick on Suir Sinn Fein Councillor David Dunne on Tipp Today yesterday.

The party has seen significant growth in its number of TDs and Councillors in recent years – electing five representatives to Tipperary County Council at the last Local Election.
