Long term problems surrounding parking around Semple Stadium seem to be resolved.
In February, locals said the issue was worse than ever for homeowners around the stadium – with reports of a fire brigade being held up in the area due to awkwardly parked cars.
However, as a result of meetings with Gardaí – local residents have been reassured, and parking permits have been issued, which will be strictly policed.
Feile Classical takes place in the stadium in September of this year, with around 10,000 people set to descend on Thurles.
