A man remains in a critical condition following a farm accident in County Offaly.
His son also received non-life threatening injuries in the incident.
It’s understood that at around quarter to 4 yesterday afternoon, the 47 year old man and his 11 year old son fell from a teleporter at their farm.
The man received serious injuries and was airlifted to Tallaght Hospital, before being transferred to Beaumont hospital where it’s understood he remains in a critical condition this afternoon.
His 11-year-old son was taken to the Midland Regional Hospital in Tullamore, where his injuries are described as non-life threatening.
The Health and Safety Authority have been attending the scene, and are continuing to investigate.
