Irish Water has ‘massive job’ on their hands – Grant

Tipperary’s Jerry Grant – head of Irish Water – says finding and fixing leaks and reversing decades of poor quality workmanship and under investment is going to take years.

The utility says the risk of water depletion in the greater Dublin area shouldn’t be underestimated.

Irish Water says there’s around 70 days of storage left for the region unless it rains or people continue to conserve.
