There has been criticism of the use of the Rock of Cashel in a promotional picture for a Tipperary Pro Choice group.
The Tipp for Choice group unfurled a ‘Repeal’ banner across the face of the Rock in a photograph which has now gone viral.
But the use of the Internationally recognised monument by a politcial group has been critcised by many.
The issue was discussed on Tipp Today this morning with some listeners saying it was inappropriate and questioned how the OPW would have given permission for such a move
But Emma Byrnes from Pro Choice for Tipp said they didn’t need permission as they were outside of the Rock walls
