Only a couple of weeks ago three Clonmel boxers, Dean Gardiner, Ellie Mai Gartland and Raymond Joyce qualified to represent Ireland at international competitions in the coming weeks and months.
The competitions have since been postponed, like all sports at the moment, but Jamie O’Flaherty spoke to Ellie Mai Gartland about the disappointment of the cancellations, how she stays motivated to train alone and how she avails of the help of her brothers who are both fine boxers themselves.
