Borrisoleigh through to North Tipp Hurling final

Its Nenagh and Borrisoleigh facing off in the North Tipp Senior Hurling final this year

Borrisoleigh are through to the north Tipp senior Hurling Final for the first time since 2010.

Borris defeated Templederry Kenyons 2-16 to 0-20 in a tight game in McDonagh Park last night.


The Kenyons led 0-13 to 0-10 by half time but two late second half goals sealed the win for Borris.

Nenagh qualified for the final the night before when they beat Kiladangan.

Elsewhere it was a busy weekend of club action;

In Round 2 of the West Senior Hurling Championship it finished

The other semi final between Eire Og Annacarthy and Arravale Rovers takes place on Wednesday.
