Kyle Walsh-Cummins from Fethard was walking along the N24 at Deerpark on the outskirts of the town on Wednesday night last when he was struck by a passing car.
He was taken to South Tipp General Hospital where he passed away yesterday.
In his 20s he is the third person to be killed on the roads of Tipperary this year.
