Sharp drop in Tipperary’s dole queues

Figures released by the Central Statistics Office show that at the end of September, there were 13,140 people on the Live Register in the Premier County. 

These figures show improved reading for Tipperary's job market. 

Between August and September, 1292 people left the Live Register in the Premier County…

The largest drop was in Thurles where 260 people left the dole queues….in Clonmel the number of people fell by 230, while in Nenagh it decreased by 218. 

Every town in the county experienced a large decline, the smallest was in Cahir at 90, Cashel's numbers went down by 104 while there was a drop of 154 people signing on in Roscrea. 

While in Tipperary Town, 108 people left the Live Register and in Carrick on Suir there are 128 less people claiming some form of unemployment benefit. 

In total, there are 13 thousand 140 people without work in the Premier County, this is down 1,239 when compared to September 2014.
