Numbers of patients without a bed increase in Tipperary

According to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation there are 363 people waiting for a bed at hospitals across the country today – down from 490 yesterday.

However the situation at University Hospital Limerick – which serves North Tipp, Clare and Limerick – has increased from 50 to 53.

At South Tipp General in Clonmel there has also been a slight jump in the numbers on trolleys or in overflow areas of wards since yesterday – up 4 to 29.
