McGrath to stay in opposition following talks

Speaking to Fran Curry on Tipp Today, the Independent Deputy said while he had engaged in the talks between the Rural Alliance members and Fine Gael he will stay in opposition in order to police the agreements he has secured.

Among the commitments he has received from Fine Gael was a 50% increase in funding for rural roads while the Taoiseach is to visit Our Lady's Hospital in Cashel to see how it can be put to better use.
