Beef farmers are to hold a 24 hour protest outside meat factories next week.
The IFA says the factories here pay €350 per head of cattle less than the UK.
The association says dropping prices over the past 12 months have inflicted serious income damage on producers and Irish prices are now below the EU average.
The protest will get underway at 3pm on Monday.
